INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE
|
(a) Install the outlet radiator hose into the radiator.
HINT:
Install the hose so that the direction of the hose clamp is as indicated in the illustration.
|
2. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Set the radiator bracket hooks to the radiator support holes.
|
(b) Install the radiator with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 18 N·m (184 kgf·cm, 13 ft·lbf)
3. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL (for LH Side)
|
(a) Install the No. 1 radiator to support seal with the 3 clips.
|
4. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL (for RH Side)
|
(a) Install the No. 1 radiator to support seal with the 3 clips.
|
5. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH
|
(a) Install the deflector with the 6 clips.
|
(b) Connect the wire harness clamp.
6. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH (w/o Trailer Towing System)
|
(a) Install the deflector with the 6 clips.
|
7. INSTALL FAN SHROUD (w/ Trailer Towing System)
|
(a) Install the fan pulley to the fan bracket.
|
(b) Place the shroud together with the coupling fan between the radiator and engine.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the radiator core.
(c) Temporarily install the fluid coupling fan to the fan bracket with the 4 nuts. Tighten the nuts as much as possible by hand.
|
(d) Attach the shroud claws to the radiator as shown in the illustration.
|
(e) Install the shroud with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 6.5 N·m (66 kgf·cm, 58 in·lbf)
(f) Connect the reservoir hose to the upper radiator tank.
|
(g) Pass the 2 hoses through the flexible hose clamp and close the clamp as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Install the hose clamp on center of white paint, and install paint of hose clap lock among stopper of fan shroud.
|
(h) Install the fan and generator V belt.
(i) Tighten the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling fan.
Torque: 21 N·m (214 kgf·cm, 16 ft·lbf)
8. INSTALL FAN SHROUD (w/o Trailer Towing System)
|
(a) Install the fan pulley to the fan bracket.
|
(b) Place the shroud together with the coupling fan between the radiator and engine.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the radiator core.
(c) Temporarily install the fluid coupling fan to the fan bracket with the 4 nuts. Tighten the nuts as much as possible by hand.
|
(d) Attach the shroud claws to the radiator as shown in the illustration.
|
(e) Install the shroud with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 6.5 N·m (66 kgf·cm, 58 in·lbf)
(f) Connect the reservoir hose to the upper radiator tank.
(g) Install the fan and generator V belt.
(h) Tighten the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling fan.
Torque: 21 N·m (214 kgf·cm, 16 ft·lbf)
9. INSTALL INLET RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Install the inlet radiator hose.
HINT:
Install the hose so that the direction of the hose clamp is as indicated in the illustration.
|
10. CONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE
|
(a) Connect the outlet radiator hose to the water inlet housing.
|
11. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY (w/ Trailer Towing System)
12. ADD ENGINE COOLANT
13. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
14. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Trailer Towing System)
15. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the front bumper cover assembly

16. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
17. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
